In The Clouds
I saw you in the clouds today,
Smiling at me as if to say:
"Don't cry Tutu, don't cry for me
I'm happy and playing with angels you see
In time the pain will go away
Of losing me, a devastating day"
You stood by my mommy with an aching heart
Knowing that soon we would have to part
When I came out it gave you a chill
To see me so lifeless, so very, very still
You held me in your loving arms
As if to shelter me from all harm
They put us in a room with a rocking chair
And there you told me how much you cared
As you rocked me so slowly and sang me a song
I knew in your heart I would always belong
Such a heavenly light when the angel came
And she spoke so softly and called my name
You said: "God needs you Wynter, for now you must go
But always remember how much I love you so
The day will come when we will meet once more
And you'll be waiting for me at Heaven's door"
I look to the clouds for I can see
My precious angel smiling down on me
